How did ORA start?

ORA was born out of frustration. Switching SIM cards while traveling, dealing with unexpected roaming charges, and struggling with unreliable connections—we knew there had to be a better way. So we set out to create a service that makes mobile data simple: instant activation, flexible plans, and coverage in over 200 countries. ORA is built for people who move—whether across borders or just in their daily lives—without worrying about staying connected.

Set it up at home, seriously took like three minutes from buying to installing it. When I landed in Thailand, I was streaming without a single buffer. If you’re always on the move, this ORA thing is a total game-changer.

We sent our lead writer on a six-week trip through Europe, the Americas, and Africa with just ORAs eSIM. Even while camping in the Andes, they had steady 8–10 Mbps. Forget hunting for café Wi-Fi or buying overpriced local cards, this thing just works anywhere.

Used it in Paris, Rio, and Cape Town back-to-back. For that price, can’t beat it.
