Welcome to ORA. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ORA web application at https://orasim.io (the “Service”), including our one-off digital eSIM data plans and any related third-party Extras. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to your use of the ORA web application, any one-off eSIM data plan (“Data Plan”) purchased or provisioned through our technology partner, and any promotional extras (“Extras”) bundled with certain Data Plans. ORA is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individuals aged eighteen or older. If you wish to use ORA for business or corporate purposes, please contact us to arrange a separate agreement. We may modify these Terms at any time to comply with applicable law, add or remove features, correct errors, or improve security. We will notify you of any material changes, by email or on-site notice, before they take effect; your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
“Account” refers to your personal user profile on ORA. “Data Plan” means any prepaid, one-off eSIM offering. “Extras” are third-party add-ons such as promotional codes included with certain Data Plans. “You” or “Customer” means the individual using the Service under these Terms.
To register, you must be at least eighteen years old and legally capable of forming binding contracts. During registration, you will provide your name, a valid email address, billing information, and a secure password. You must ensure that all information you supply is accurate and kept up to date. You are solely responsible for any activity under your Account; if you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately at support@orasim.io.
ORA offers one-off eSIM Data Plans that you may purchase, download, and activate via our website. You have thirty days from the date of purchase to activate a Data Plan manually; if you do not do so, we will automatically activate the plan on day thirty-one, and the usage period will begin. Extras, such as promotional codes for third-party services, may accompany certain Data Plans; their availability and redemption methods will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase. If an Extra becomes unavailable, your core Data Plan remains fully functional.
When you select a Data Plan, you must ensure your device is unlocked and eSIM-compatible and that the plan is valid for the region in which you intend to use it. After purchase, download the eSIM profile to your device and keep it installed until the plan is fully used or expires. When your Data Plan runs low or expires, you may purchase additional Top-Ups at any time: simply browse the Top-Up options in your account, complete the checkout process, and download the new profile per the instructions provided.
All fees, including applicable taxes and any currency conversions, are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We may perform zero-amount or small refundable authorizations to verify your payment method. Receipts for successful charges are sent via email, and you may request invoices by contacting support@orasim.io. If a purchase or Top-Up attempt fails, the item remains in your portfolio marked “pending payment.” You may click “Purchase” beside that entry to restart and finalize the payment; we do not retry failed transactions automatically.
For details on timeframes for canceling unactivated items, the handling fee of USD 2.00, and eligibility for refunds, please see our separate Orders & Refunds Policy page. That policy governs all questions of cancellation, refund requests, and processing fees.
ORA offers two plan types. Unlimited Plans provide near-unlimited full-speed data throughout the plan’s validity, subject to overall network capacity and fair-use considerations. Non-Stop Plans include a fixed allowance of full-speed data, such as 5 GB per 24 hours or 30 GB per month, after which speeds are reduced to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the period. In all cases, commercial resale, bulk machine-to-machine traffic, and heavy tethering beyond occasional personal use are prohibited. To maintain service quality and protect all users, we may shape or throttle traffic during peak periods or in response to abusive usage, and we reserve the right to suspend service for repeated violations.
You must use ORA only in compliance with all applicable laws and third-party rights. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Service, introduce malware or launch attacks against our infrastructure, share your Account credentials with others, or upload infringing or harmful content.
You may close your Account at any time by contacting support@orasim.io; upon confirmation, your Account will be deleted and any unused Data Plans will lapse upon their scheduled expiry. ORA may suspend or terminate your Account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, fail to comply with regulatory requirements, or if required by law enforcement or other authorities. Termination revokes your access instantly; we will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. ORA does not warrant uninterrupted access, coverage, or compatibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions of implied warranties, so this section may not apply where prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ORA and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the total fees you have paid to ORA in the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ORA, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Gibraltar, or, where mandatory, to the courts of your jurisdiction. Class or representative actions are not permitted.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Orders & Refunds Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ORA. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; ORA may assign them freely. ORA is not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond its control. The English version of these Terms prevails over any translation.
